Screenwriter and Michener Fellow Nathan Patton placed 5th in the Launch’s screenplay contest. for his screenplay, “GREENWOOD.” UT’s RTF MFA student Brittany Worthington placed 2nd for her screenplay, “Golden State.”

Michener Center alum Fiona McFarlane, who graduated in 2012, has won a $30,000 Kibble Award, for her short story collection, The High Places.
